The Vancouver Island MusicFest returns this July 12th - 14th 2019. This awesome event in the Comox Valley has run since 1997 bringing big acts to the island like the Blind Boys of Alabama, Prairie Oyster, John Prine, and Selina Ryder.

It’s one of the top festivals on the island. This year’s lineup includes Tom Cochrane with Red Rider, Colin James, Bobby Rush, Asleep at the Wheel, Robben Ford, The Muscle Shoals Allstars, and many more!

With two Junos (Most Promising Male Vocalist, Album of the Year) and an American Music Award (Most Popular Album of the Year) to his credit, Zappacosta has long been a valued commodity of the Contemporary/ Smooth Jazz music scene. His unique vocal ability and emotional delivery have been hailed a masterpiece. Just recently Toronto named a street after him and his life documentary aired on CBC documentary channel last month.
