Orientation Week 2024

Sign up for orientation during our orientation week, or a stand-alone orientation session! Each session should run around approximately an hour and a half.

Our current dates and sessions are

• Wednesday, September 18th at 12 PM and 3 PM.

• Thursday, September 18th at 12 PM and 3 PM.

• Friday, September 18th at 12 PM and 3 PM.

If those session dates and times do not work for you, we can look to schedule a one-on-one orientation.

• We explain campus-community radio;

  • What makes us different from public or commercial broadcasters

• We review our broadcast community;

• We explain how the organization is structured;

  • Student and Community Members,

  • Volunteers,

  • Board Members,

  • Staff.

• Sources of funding.

• Ongoing projects of the station;

  • Referendum;

  • Return to campus plan;

  • Non-profit newsroom;

  • and more!

• Basic volunteer rules and sign volunteer agreements;

• Volunteer roles;

• Opportunities for further training.
