It's our birthday! Celebrate 22 years of the Radio Malaspina Society and CHLY 101.7FM

Today on December 3rd, 1997, twenty-two years ago, we officially became the Radio Malaspina Society, the organization that still to this day operates CHLY 101.7FM. After three years as a campus club founded in 1994, our station's founders came together to form the non-profit society that is the bedrock of our station. How cool is that?

It also so happens that today is Giving Tuesday, and as a celebration of our birthday, might consider giving us a gift of support? Our Fall Fund Drive ends this Friday, and we still have a ways to go to hit our goal.

Join us at CHLY as we enjoy food and drink at the end of our Fall Fund Drive. Available for members, volunteers, VIU students, and faculty, and listeners to enjoy. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the station we run, and the projects we have on the go and are planning for the future.
