In this episode of Students in the Know: We speak with Dr. Paul Paul Hasselback, Medical Officer of Health for the mid-island region about what is being done to keep people safe from COVID-19. An interview with Lois Peterson from the Unitarian Shelter shows the challenges that front-line services are facing in preventing COVID-19 from spreading between people who are homeless. A new student bursary at VIU is available for students who need support due to the virus, and we speak with local poet and author Kim Goldberg.
