BC's Ministry of Education has lost a landmark case in the Supreme Court of Canada. It has been ordered to pay more than $7 million dollars to the Francophone School Board of BC.
Dr. Shannon Dames a nursing professor at Vancouver Island University has received a $50,000 dollar grant to develop a psychedelic therapy for health care workers and first responders who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Farmers in the Alberni Valley will be allowed to slaughter animals on their farms for sale to consumers restaurants and butcher shops.
