Lauryn is excited to work on Midcoast Morning

CHLY 101.7FM is excited for the return of its news and current affairs program Midcoast Morning with the recent hiring of Lauryn Mackenzie as the host and producer of the program. Lauryn returns to CHLY after working this past summer as a junior producer at the station.

Lauryn has a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Studies from Vancouver Island University where she worked on her school’s newspaper the Navigator and literary magazine Portal. She also has freelanced at The Discourse and The Powell River Peak, and also worked as a junior reporter in 2020 at CHLY working with then news director Lisa Cordasco.
