Love Drive 2023

The shortest month of the year is here, and February 14th is just around the corner! We’re mostly romantics here at CHLY, and despite Valentines being a bit of a Hallmark holiday, we see it as a fun opportunity for our Salish Sea community to take to the airwaves and share what we mean to each other!

With that in mind, this Valentine’s Day, we’re asking you to submit your notes, poems, and missed connections, and we’ll air them during a special Love Drive Edition of the VIU Meter on February 14th! You can even profess your love for community media!

Your submission can be a message to your sweetheart, to your dog or cat, to the place you live, to the one that got away, to yourself… love comes in all forms and we want to celebrate whatever shape it takes for you this year. Fill in the form on this page, or leave us a message at 1-250.740.1017 by February 10, and we’ll broadcast your message on air, and share some of the notes on social media!

Then, come February 14th, get out the chocolates and tune into CHLY 101.7FM for love notes and love songs from 3-5pm on Tuesday the Tuesday Edition of the VIU Meter!
