Local Nanaimo boy may [be] on his way to the big time!

Jayden Holman www.jaydenholman.com from Nanaimo has won 1st place in the PNE 2012 Star Showdown held in Vancouver British Columbia on August 18th 2012. Full results available at http://www.pne.ca/starshowdown/

This victory assures Nanaimo’s very own Jayden Holman a spot in the finals to be held on Tuesday August 21st at the PNE Star Showdown West Jet Concert Stage. Jayden performed Van Morrison’s “Into the Mistic” playing acoustic guitar and singing.

Jayden Holman is a 16 year old singer songwriter who plays jazz, country, rock, grunge says Jayden “…if I feel it, I can play it.”

True to his modest self Jayden quietly entered the contest without any fan-fare.  Jayden’s father Gary accompanied him to the event and couldn’t be more thrilled.

Jayden plays at the Nanaimo VIEX on Sunday August 19th 3:30 – 4:30.
