“I’m so pleased to represent the Green Party of BC in the upcoming election,” says Susan Low, BC Green Party candidate for Esquimalt Royal Roads. “As a business person and a mom, I believe the Green Party has the best policies for building a better future, while looking after the practical needs of today. I’m looking forward to giving my neighbours in Esquimalt-Royal Roads a strong choice of somebody to vote for.”
“The Green Party of BC is rapidly putting our team in place for the 2013 election,” comments Jane Sterk, leader of the Green Party of BC. “We expect to have half to three-quarters of our candidates nominated by the end of the year and the remainder in the first quarter of 2013.
“It is great that Susan Low becomes our first nominated candidate. She certainly deserves that honour. Since she decided to seek the nomination, Susan has been working non-stop to put the building blocks of a winning campaign in place – www.runsusanrun.com. She has spent time talking to community, business and municipal leaders to ensure she understands the issues on the ground in the constituency.
“Susan is an ideal candidate to represent the BC Green Party. She is a successful businesswoman, an amazing mom, a supportive spouse and a competitive athlete. She is passionate about being a force for change in BC politics and representing her constituents in the legislature. And her ability to bring collaboration to work places should help change the culture of hyper-partisanship in the legislature,” concludes Sterk.
