The website hasn`t been updated for awhile there is a fundrasier on Thursday june 12 th. Also the Thursday before that , June 5th is a special day, I was hoping the website might cover it Before june 5th 2001 CHLY-FM did not exist until June 5 2001 the CRTC approved the application for a community-based campus radio station. Hence CHLY was born. Under it’s new campus radio policy, the Commission noted that they expected Canadian music, not generally heard on commercial stations The Commission also noted they look forward to the applicant implementing it`s local talent development plan and the dedication to devote seven hours of Aboriginal-language programming, and three hours in French each week.
