Jenna was born in England and studied classical violin and piano, playing in youth orchestras during her teens. She was inspired to pick up the nylon string guitar and developed a passion for Brazilian and Latin music, teaching herself the Portuguese lyrics, jazz chords and rhythms of many Bossa Nova and Samba standards from the great Bossa era. In the late 70′s at the tender age of 17, she spent a year in Paris busking with her guitar. Eventually she settled on Gabriola, living and playing on the gulf Islands and Nanaimo

Jenna has shared her incredible talent and passion music for many years, performing all around Gabriola Island and Vancouver Island, with her many groups. Singing in 5 languages, playing her jazz guitar, congas and violin, founding such bands as: Bossa Breeze, Bossa Loca, and most recently Terrazetto
