The Nanaimo Navy League Branch will be holding an overnight weekend event from August 17 to August 19 introducing youth to the Navy League Cadet youth program.

The program is for youth between the ages 9-12; among the events, movies, games, learn naval terminology, knot work, setting up a sailboat and more. Those who attend this event and choose to continue with the program will NOT have to pay again in September
