Tommy Roden initially began his community radio career as the Sound Engineer for Gord Theedom, a fellow octogenarian programmer at CHLY radio. After helping Theedom to record his weekly program onto CD, he was hounded for about a year by both Theedom and the station manager before he finally capitulated and agreed to do his own show.
